1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ARTISH platform (artish.world), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. About ARTISH
ARTISH is a project management platform — not a hiring agency, staffing firm, or service broker. We provide tools that enable individuals and organisations to collaborate on creative and professional projects. ARTISH does not employ, endorse, or guarantee the work of any user on the platform.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use the platform to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Upload malicious software or content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Circumvent platform features, fees, or security measures
5. Project Collaboration & Work Quality
ARTISH facilitates connections between project commissioners and talent. We do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or completion of any work performed through the platform. All working arrangements are between the parties involved. Users are encouraged to:
- Clearly define project scope, milestones, and deliverables before starting work
- Use the platform’s milestone tracking and approval features to manage expectations
- Communicate openly through the platform’s discussion features
If work quality is poor or deliverables are not met, ARTISH is not liable. We encourage users to resolve disputes directly. ARTISH may, at its discretion, mediate disputes but is not obligated to do so.
6. Payments & Contractor Compensation
All payments on ARTISH are processed through Stripe. ARTISH does not hold or manage funds directly.
ARTISH is not responsible for ensuring that contractors or freelancers receive payment on time. Payment obligations rest entirely with the commissioning party. If a contractor does not receive payment as agreed:
- The matter is between the contractor and the commissioner
- ARTISH may provide transaction records to support dispute resolution
- ARTISH is not a party to any employment or service agreement between users
Users who repeatedly fail to honour payment commitments may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
7. Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of content they create and upload to the platform. By posting content, you grant ARTISH a limited, non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content as necessary to operate the platform.
8. Platform Availability
We strive to keep ARTISH available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ARTISH LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.
ARTISH provides the platform “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ARTISH LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
